community dinner project
Founded in 2016 by Holly Postler, The St. Pete Community Dinner Project was started as a way to educate and inspire others about the importance of food - from sourcing ingredients to preparing healthy meals at home.
After years of friends asking me to cook for them or to open a restaurant, I finally decided to do something about it. But in my own eccentric way. My favorite way to dine is at home, at a big table with food and friends, wine and laughter. It is important to me to also incorporate a feeling of community into anything that I do, and this project is just the beginning.

fold up chairs (seeking at least 15-20)
cooking equipment
although a lot is already acquired and storage is tight, we're always seeking new additions to kitchen gear
storage
seeking outdoor shed / storage for excess equipment and furniture
free dinners to those who wil donate time to help me build a structure
reclaimed materials
wood, old windows, tile, concrete blocks
delivery is appreciated :)
if you have something you would like to donate, please email Holly a description of the item (preferably with a picture and some basic measurements) and I can let you know if the St. Pete Community Dinner Project can provide a good home for it :) with the exception of reclaimed materials, items must be in good or great condition because they may be under heavy use
at this time the project is not designated as a nonprofit, which might mean that all donations are not tax deductible, but I believe in paying it forward and I know there are others out there who support the fight for food
